The New Ford C-Max Hybrid

The new Ford C-Max in Lynnwood has a revolutionary electric vehicle as part of its lineup. The 2013 Ford C-Max Energi Plug-In Hybrid is the product of years of innovative electrified research and development. Ford has created electric motors that are more powerful, last longer, are lighter and less expensive to make than ever before. This means they are able to provide the U.S. with a rechargeable and refuelable hatchback, for little more than $33K.

The C-Max Energi Plug-In Hybrid starts out using its 7.6-kWh lithium-ion battery pack for electric-only driving. After the battery uses up what it has to completely propel the C-Max, the four-cylinder gas engine will kick in, allowing the C-Max Energi to drive in hybrid fashion.

Tom Libby, a spokesperson from the automotive research firm R.L. Polk, told media, “Ford has been among the leaders in Europe for a long time and the Focus and the Fiesta have traditionally done well there. A resurgence in the U.S. with passenger cars has helped Ford too.”

Ford Wins In Brand Loyalty

Ford Motor Co has always delivered exactly what Americans ask for. It was the first automaker to bring high-tech to the dashboard of production vehicles, and has recently won KBB’s award for brand style, while the new Ford Fusion in Lynnwood was honored as the best redesign of the year.

If you look at the nameplate loyalty numbers over the last three months of this past year, Ford had the best record of return buyers. Half of all Ford owners will come back to purchase another Ford or Lincoln – more than any other automaker selling vehicles in the U.S.
